This guy can't control the judicial system, it's not his fault that they let him out early. In fact, his early release is more of punishment than anything.
Also you can pick your sins, but you can't pick your consequences. He chose to rape a young lady, and now he has to deal with the consequences of that choice, which include death threats.

Don't get me wrong what Brock did is disgusting, but blaming him for his sentence is VERY INTENSELY missing the problem of the bust justice system and it's favourability towards young, white men. NO WAY would a young black man in the same shoes have been let off so lightly. No way.

You people are disgusting. Death threats are not a part of his sentence.
This is ATRL's "progressive" approach in practice.

Oh, and on topic. I think the shaming he received online is enough. I don't know why he got released early and he got a very low sentence, but I don't doubt the judge's abilities. The crime already happened, so how about we do everything to nullify the harm it caused? I would focus on compensating for it more rather than having the guy stoned and punished several times by the people.
And yes, I do believe the sentence was too low, however once it was announced, it is law (not to be confused with legislative law) and I'm not questioning it.

Stooping to his level isn't the way to handle this.

I never said death threats were apart of his sentence, I said it was a consequence of his actions. Consequences are not limited to jail sentences.

What he did was absolutely disgusting, but people seem to forget:
- He is not the judge, he doesn't get to decide how long he can serve.
- He is not a rapist, he only got convicted for sexual assault.
- He already lost a lot (deserving so) for what he did.
- He is not the first person to commit such act, it's the commercialization of his particular case that is blowing things up.
- Death threats are illegal. Verbal harassment is illegal. Damage of public property is illegal.

"He's not the judge" okay but he still raped someone, so
It's not like he evaded a parking ticket violation.

He deserves what he is getting for putting that woman through that.
