I mean, have you heard the song? So generic and forgettable and it's clicking its 5th week at #1! Not a fan of M5 at all but I think 'Payphone' was at least catchy for some people and it was more "reasonable" for it to go #1 than this non-song. And aren't you tired of Adam Levine inflating his masculinity in every video? Hasn't he heard his own voice? I mean why does he have to save a girl form a bank robbery in one video wich is not even related to the song or be a boxer in other video or kill his girlfriend's lover in another? Can't M5 make like more "modest" or "fun" videos? It's like I don't find Levine like a role model at all but it's like they're pushing hard this image of him being the ultimate "macho" man wich he obviously isn't.

Just some thoughts. What do you think?

the band definitely deserves their success and the song isn't a bad song, but to me one more night isn't a standout track on the album in the slightest and i'm surprised it's attained this kind of success

Yeah, even though you can hate a real hit if it's real popular and a lot of people love it, it's a hit whether you like it or not. Like 'Call Me Maybe', that the definition of a real hit, I've known people that really hate the song, cause they don't listen to pop or electronica at all, but involuntarily sing part of the song lyrics. That's because it's catchy and has #1 material, not this song that's not even popular.

I don't know anyone locally that knows of its existence,they still think 'Payphone' was their song. OMN really sounds like a Top 20 song to me.
