Is the US college system/life offending Greeks?
I mean, the frat houses and sororities in the US are named after Greek letters. The entire college frat/sorority experience is called Greek life.
All of you who are complaining about Cultural Appropriation!!11111!! and stuff like that seem to have a say about everything.
Should I, as a Greek, be offended by this? Greek life is all about parties and alcohol and sex. Should i start calling out the US College system?
Because, i do NOT feel offended AT ALL. I actually feel proud that something out of the Greek culture has so much impact in the US college life. As anyone should.
I'm truly offended by the Americans branding some products as Italian (such as the Italian dressing for salads) when our only dressing is olive oil+vinegar+salt, so you better be INDIGNANT over this

There's a huge difference between assimilation and appropriation. Most of the governments of the world are modeled through Greek politics and ideologies, as well as many of the alphabets in the world. In return, Greek itself had experiences a lot of cultural exchange. Also, fraternities are not all about sex and alcohol, but okay.
Cultural appropriation is only bad when it's done by white people to non-white cultures. That's basically what SJWs believe if you really question them about it.
There's no SJW "scalping" at all this thread is embarrassing and the OP is clearly trolling, they're obsessed with looking cool and hopping on the "omg those SJWs!!!111!! " bandwagon, and this isn't their first thread about them.
Why not? If a Native American head piece worn by Leona is considered offending, why not the use of the Greek letters or the Greek lifestyle not be offending?
