It's a 'Jurassic' world, with John Williams' classic 1993 instrumental a No. 1 hit at last.
The song, uh … found a way.
Twenty-two years after its arrival, John Williams' "Jurassic Park Theme," originally released (as a now-essentially extinct cassette and CD single) accompanying the 1993 blockbuster, has become a No. 1 hit on a Billboard chart, taking a 6-1 bite out of the June 27 Classical Digital Songs survey. It leaps to the top with a 205 percent gain to 3,000 sold in the week ending June 14, according to Nielsen Music. The sweeping instrumental has sold 189,000 downloads to-date.
What kind of unstoppable power?! Poor all of our faves.
