Cheryl Cole planning her solo career in the US after Xmas
Exhausted Cheryl Cole planning long Christmas rest
Cheryl Cole's got the X-it factor - and it's so long Blighty, hello La-La Land.
I can reveal the exhausted judge is set to take a month-long sunshine break after Christmas, to get over the rollercoaster year she's been through.
The stunning singer cheated death after contracting malaria and went through a heartbreaking divorce from Chelsea and England footballer Ashley.
And X Factor has been no less controversial, with the uproar over Gamu Nhengu not making the finals, the no-vote saga and Katie "The Weasel" Waissel.
If ever there was a time to head to the sun for a bit of chillaxing, this is it. After sifting through the brochures, we hear she's set the wheels in motion to jet off to LA for a month in January.
But knowing our Chez, she won't just be putting her feet up and reclining on a deckchair with her "pal" Derek Hough.
Nope, it's time to grow Brand Cheryl.
A friend said: "Cheryl loves the States and can't wait to get back there after the year she's had.
"She currently gearing up for her post-Christmas hols like you wouldn't believe. She's really looking forward to a bit of sun and the chance to let her hair down.
"While there, she's also going to be househunting and having meetings about her solo career.
"She's spent the past six months focusing on her acts in the X Factor. Now it's time to channel her energy into her own career.
"Black Eyed Peas' Will.i.am has been singing her praises all over Hollywood. There's a real buzz around her and loads of stars are asking about working with her.
"Seeing Cheryl linked with Will.i.am and singer Nicki Minaj means she's hot property. But she's taking time to recharge her batteries and will then head into 2011, determined to make it better than her annus horribilis this year."
William is looking forward to Cheryl coming to the US.
It sounds like WILL.I.AM is ready to help CHERYL COLE launch her US music career. He revealed at last weekend's American Music Awards: "Cheryl's going to be great in the US. I'm looking forward to her coming over. It don't matter that she's British - she could be Chinese, Mexican, Cantonese or whatever... she's got great songs and looks fantastic, so that's all that matters. She's going to be a massive success. I'm here to look after her so she's going to be fine." Somebody sounds protective.
I love her, and her music, but unless she records some solid new tracks she's gonna flop, cos IMO she doesn't really have anything that could break America.
IMO i think she shud mashup both album include her 3 singles from 3 words () plus boy like you heaven rain on me and stand up and her new album n include a collabo wit sum US artist.

Out of all the songs, I'd say FFTL stands the best chance
yess!! fight for this love is my all time fa vorite song the song is stunning i never get tired of it i hope they go with it and maybe reshoot the music video then they can release something else but i think is safer to go with FFTL and all the performances were flawless
Am I the only one who thinks FFTL would flop HARD in the U.S.? It's just too slow and classy for American pop radio.
It would flop here only because it's generic pop. Say what you want about Ke$ha, Ciara, Bey, GaGa, Britney, Katy, etc....but at least their music has a different type of pop appeal. FFTL would do bad because it's just a bland pop song.
