George Zimmerman is auctioning the gun he used to kill Trayvon Martin four years ago, he told a Florida TV station.
A jury acquitted Zimmerman in the unarmed African-American teen's death after he claimed self-defense.
Since his acquittal in 2013, Zimmerman has made news several times, including an arrest in a domestic violence case. Prosecutors dropped the charges after his girlfriend refused to cooperate with the investigation.
There's definitely a market for this though. Murderabilia is pretty popular, there's always people out there that have morbid fascinations with killers/serial killers and buy their property.
I wish people would stop giving him attention. He does something crazy every few months to get people talking about him and it just boosts his profile.
Hopefully one day karma gets him like OJ, but until then I'm tired of hearing about him. Inform me when he croaks and burns in hell for good.
But this probably doesn't break the law. Profiting from a crime is illegal in a lot of circumstances on this side of the pond, not sure about the US. Whoever pursues the item at auction = trash
