Pop this year was crappy as usual since 2003. But we did have a few people return & debut with some of that good ol pop stuff. Madonna released her album last year so she was uneligible to be in competition but she did have the BEST POP ALBUM. The only album that u can listen to from beginning to end w/ no skips. The men was slacking this year but Justin & Nick both showed out. The women is what makes pop and there is 1 lil lady who you can depend on to give you what you want & then some. I await to see what Britney, Kelly, Backstreet Boys and JC Chasez come with in 2007.

5. Justin Timberlake- FutureSex/LoveSounds
~ his debut is a pop classic in my eyes but this was just mediocore. He tried to be TOO different but at the same time he did bring some heat. His voice sounds weak & gets lost at times in Timbo's productions. Whereas on the Neptunes beats, he was able to glide with no problems. His "Prince" infused songs are nice, his hip hop collabos are decent (T.I. did do his thang tho) and his ballads/pop songs are some of his best work. I expected MORE but after lettin it grow on me, he deserves a bit more credit then what I initially gave him. Sexyback, My Love & Until The End of Time are key songs.
4. JoJo- The High Road
~ the future of music has returned with her best work yet. I loved the concept of the album with her sending a message to kids of her age of taking the High Road. The material is appropriate for her and her voice.... my problem is that she has yet to find her style. So I'm happy that she waitin till she's 18 to release album #3 cuz she needs to grow up, find a style & perfect her voice. Note To God, How To Touch A Girl & The Way U Do Me are key songs.
3. Danity Kane- Danity Kane
~ I think they might pick up where Destiny's Child has left off.... I'll wait a little longer b4 I go that far LOL. But they are the BEST girl group out now, their harmonies are very NICE and they have that diva-tude. A very good album with very lil complaints... they just need PROMOTION. Ride 4 U, Want It, Right Now & One Shot are key songs.
2. Nelly Furtado- Loose
~ OMG, I'm so glad I took a chance and got this album.... I'm a fan. She is soooo good & underrated, one of the BEST pop singers to come out of the Millenial Pop Scene. She & Timbo work very well together, his beats & her songs= perfect mix. I'm loving her eccentricity (yeah, I made that up lol) but her songs have meaning. My only problem is the 2nd half of the cd can be abit boring. Her tracklisting should have been in a betta order. Otherwise it damn nears ties for #1. Maneater, All Good Things ft. Chris Martin (find this version, they KILL IT), Say It Right and Te Busque are key songs.
Thats right you guessed it, coming in at #1 is Miss Aguilera. She straight up took it BACK. I love how a latin white girl did a tribute to legendary black performers. She made the mainstream audience take notice & she gets even more love and praise from me. This is her best work. There are a few fillers but when you have 2 discs, that is bound to happen. I could see how she could have broken it down and have it set up by different categories.... but she's doing that on the tour so I can't complain. I prefer disc 1 only due to it being more R&B but I do love the gimmick songs on disc 2. I'm mad that she's not doing as well as she could have but thats the price u pay for not doing what everybody else is. Also she OVER-sings too damn much lol. DISC 1- Slow Down Baby, Make U Wanna Pray & Without You. DISC 2- Nasty Naughty Boy, Candyman & Save Me From Myself. Congrats, Baby Jane... job overly done lol.

5. Gwen Stefani- Sweet Escape
~ her debut was FIYAH w/ crap... this is just CRAP. The ****** Escape is more like it. Wind It Up is her desperately tryin to have another Hollaback Girl type hit and desperately failing. She's TRYIN to HARD to be different since Fergie swagger jacked her. The whole album is rushed crap and she should have waited to put it out. I know No Doubt is eager to come back so please get back with them SOON. Songs worth a damn: 4 In Da Morning & Fluorescent.
4. Jessica Simpson- Public Affair
~ who in the hell told her to be artistic?? She can barely be original so why in the hell is she gon take a risk & do a 80's like throwback album. She deserved to flop ol dumbass. Songs worth a damn: I Don't Wanna Care, Public Affair & B.O.Y
3. Fergie- Dutchess
~ Swagger jacker of the year. Its funny how she does that and no one comments on it but when Beyonce does it then its World War 3. Yall some hypocrites. LMAO Her album is boring but it was betta then Jess & Gwen but I hate swagger jackin that obvious so that puts her lower. She was my fave member of BEP and I couldn't wait to her solo work.... damn. I hate her now, I hope she gets it together & go back to actually singin.
2. Cassie- Cassie
~ I thought she was goin to be the NEWEST POP SENSATION!! ROTFL. Pretty b!tch flopped & flopped hard. We already know she nothin but a dumbass model. But at least she didn't buy her way into the industry like #1 who I have NO words for.
