Following the lead of Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson, Rihanna is getting into the weed-selling business with a line of products named MaRihanna. The report by 18KaratReggae.com that the announcement was made at the High Times Cannabis Cup in Negril, Jamaica has not been confirmed.
The strains are dubbed Karibbean Kush, Haitian Haze and Jamaican High Grade.
“MaRihanna by Rihanna is truly the first mainstream cannabis brand in the world and proud to be a pioneer,” the Barbados-born singer states about her new venture. “MaRihanna is blazing a trail for the industry.”
Well, not quite the first. Last week, Snoop launched Leafs by Snoop at a private party in Denver. And Nelson is working on a line of strains and products under the name Willie's Reserve. All plan to commence sales in legal states – Colorado, Washington, Oregon and Alaska.
