Is 'Telephone' more iconic than 'Crazy In Love'?
I think it is, do you?
The video was better, had more impact, it performed better worldwide, was Beyonce's last hit WW and in the US, and is arguably one of the most iconic female collabs after Mariah/Whitney and Brandy/Monica.
So tell me gworls, do you agree?

Telephone borrows heavily from past iconic scenes in movies.
Crazy In Love wins just for this scene alone.

The track's horn-driven hook samples instrumentation from The Chi-Lites' 1970 song "Are You My Woman (Tell Me So)".
so your argument is invalid

CIL has not, and never will be iconic.
How is a video of a colored woman wiggling her arse, and strutting down a street "eye-conic"? That's just everyday activity in the 'burbs.

You do know I'm talking about the video?

The video referenced Quentin Tarantino and his films Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) and Pulp Fiction (1994).
Two hugely iconic films.

I remember CIL more easily, tbh. Not that Telephone was bad by any means.
