Well as most know, we had our advertising pulled because of some of the content that was being posted on the site. So this brings us to a crossroads at this point I have two options either we continue the censorship, and potentially regain our advertising money, or I have consider shutting down the site. It is very difficult to run the site without any advertising. For those wondering about the ads we have currently these ads are barely pay anything they are backup fall back ads.

So I am here to ask what everyone thinks should be done. If you have any ideas on what should be done (and looking for a new advertiser is not a valid idea as all advertisers dont allow illicit content) I am looking for constructive ideas here, if you are just disrespectful in this thread you will get warning points.

I think people should just deal with the censorship. Makes the site look more professional anyways. There is no absolute need for explicit content.

Never stopped 4chan. Find out who they use for ads then just use them.

I think it's totally fine to stick with the censoring. I mean, there are no real problems with it at all.

Although, some words aren't censored in the plural form. For example, *** is censored, but **** is not. I just thought it was a bit weird.

This. I'd much rather see a bunch of asterisks than the site being shut down. But, I don't understand the censoring of blogs, since they're members only

Can we make censorship a default option (ie to non-members, censorship is the only way they see things), but have a ticker in our profile settings to disable it? Plenty of sites have that. I'm completely sure it's possible with this forum software.

i'm fine with the censoring and i'm not here for the site shutting down i'll have a massive meltdown

Tha site shut down would really do some of these low lives some good. IE getting an education,bathing,Hooked on Phonics,etc.

But tha censorship really isn't as bad as it was when i came back and noticed it. Ive pretty much gotten used to it. Im rude enough to get my point across without cursing,and even tho it sucks i can deal,or just misspell it

Maybe we can have a donation drive? It keeps sites like What.CD going (since 2007 now) on donations alone, no ads, uncensored.
