I was highly against the 2010s Spider-Man considering I was a huge fan of the 2000s Spider-Man as a child. I thought it was ridiculous they were re-creating the movie so soon and refused to go see it. In 2013 an avid comic book fan friend of mine informed me it was re-created because the 2000s strayed greatly away from the original comic book's plot, so most comic book fans were outraged and are for the 2010s Spider-Man vs. the 2000s one. The 2000s Spider-Man is generally more appreciated by those who grew up with those movies and not the comic books. Once I decided to let go of nostalgia, I realized I like the 2010s Spider-Man a lot more. Looking back, Toby McGuire was a terrible choice for Spider-Man.
I didn't even care much for the first two Spider-Man movies, they were cute and all tho. I actually loved the third one, though it's a very unpopular opinion, but I don't know. Maybe it's because I saw it in theaters and it was an amazing experience.
The Amazing Spider-Man was really great, probably even better than SM3, so my favorite of them all. The sequel looks very promising so I'm sure I'll love that as well. I think Andrew is more suited for the character, as well.

2000's all day, I mean spiderman 2 alone>>>>>>>>>> corniness and all. The Amazing Spiderman was mundane and not necessary. I heard the second movie was mediocre s imma just catch that later
