Yes. All of the big 3 (MJ, Beatles, Elvis) have inflated record sales.

I don't know who's the highest male solo artist. Judging by his certifications, Elvis wasn't that massive of a seller outside the US/UK (though he literally had hundreds of releases, so maybe they added up), but he's ahead in the U.S. by a pretty significant margin.

UK is the #4 music market

But that number has been flowing around for years. He is a great catalog seller, especially after his death, and his digital sales are awesome. He will probably reach or surpass that number eventually anyway.
