The both debuted in 2008 and gaga seemed to be bigger than Katy from 2008 - 2011 with albums, touring, awards, and endorsements. But now from 2012 - present, it seems that the tables have turned. Why is that? Why did gaga fall behind? Discuss.
Because her music still sounds fresh and her last album was of better quality than Gaga's last. & she never alienated the gp with over the top theatrics. She didn't outlast Gaga though, we need to see what happens with Gaga's next era before talking about artists outlasting her.
Because she didn't say she's about to release an album of the millenium and didn't release a mess of an album right after. Says person who loves both of them, tho.
You don't even know what outlast means, right? They both still got a strong career going on. Gaga had a flop last era but that's ok, she can still bounce back. It's not like Britney vs Beyonce where the last has really outlasted the first.
That's not necessarily bad, but it's why. Lady Gaga still has a chance at coming back anyway.
