Of course you won't see as many as in the straight community because we're 5 or 7% of the population
Your point still stands though. Sad reality, but it might not necessarily have to do with racism, I've met many gays that are so full of themselves/selfish/egocentric that they'd rather date someone their own color. white, black, latino whatever. They're way too in love with themselves.
but then this one city an hour or so away has a huge Somali population. It's not the most diverse state... especially in small towns like I live in.
