Christina Aguilera Is Teaming Up With Taco Bell To Help End World Hunger
Christina Aguilera is using the power of her voice and gorditas to help hungry children.
In a world where so many celebrities are busy endorsing razors and cellphones, we kinda love that Christina Aguilera's committed to helping solve the global issue of hunger. Christina is all SIDE EYE to shameless celebrity consumer-package-goods partnerships (we're looking at you Kim Kardashian). She's proven that what a girl wants is to give back by teaming up with Yum Brands, the world's largest restaurant company and parent company of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell (of course) to help feed people. Christina's using her gigantic voice for good by filming a new PSA for the Company's World Hunger Relief effort that benefits the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and other hunger relief agencies. She'll also appear in advertising, online efforts and posters supporting the cause. That's two of our favorite things on Earth -- Christina Aguilera and a seven-layer burrito -- united in sweet, delicious harmony!
The "Voice" judge has been a global spokesperson for Yum since 2009 and has helped them raise millions for the charity. "I'm excited about my new PSA for Yum Brands' World Hunger Relief effort this fall using my voice for good to help feed millions of children who go to bed hungry every night," said Aguilera. "I hope to inspire others to use their voice for good and move millions of people from hunger to hope."
