Although I'm white and therefore, obviously privileged when it comes to these, I avoid interactions with elitist assholes. There is nothing wrong with having types, but the fact that a person is using these terms tells a lot about their character, and that simply they're not ones I'm looking for.
I'm not gay but I'm sure it must be infuriating to have your enemas ready and starving yourself all day just to see the guy being into "no rice, no spice, no chocolate". I would be angry too.

I'd never say something like that myself but I mean it's mostly used on hookup apps like Grindr and stuff, and everyone has preferences and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

And that's the T. You get used to people who are around you the most. There's nothing wrong with that.
Yes, I find it offensive and as a south indian guy, I never know which categorie I fall in. Rice ? Spice ?
edit: It's one thing to have preferences (everyone have them) but it's an other to completely block out an entire "race"/ethnicity, it's called racism.

There's preferences ("A plus if you're black") and there's racism ("no rice, no spice, no chocolate"); one is automatically excluding people of a certain ethnic background without due consideration. Doesn't take a genius to realize how society conditions us to like certain things.
While the reason behind them excluding an entire race (no chocolate for example) might be racist I don't think it's racist to state those preferences in hookup apps.
