On the 20th of April, Estonian band Bedwetters released their debut album "Meet the f#cking Bedwetters" under Swedish indie label I Can Hear Music.
Bedwetters is a rock band from small town of Pärnu, Estonia that flew into a spotlight in autumn 2007 when they caused a fuss winning the MTV EMA New Sound of Europe award in Munich beating bands like Klaxons and Sunrise Avenue on the way. Bedwetters was the first band from Estonia to win an MTV award, ever.
Since the historic November 1st moment when Nelly Furtado & Snoop Dogg handed them the MTV award, the band has been touring in the Baltics, supporting acts like Good Charlotte & Avril Lavigne and performing at numerous festivals like Positivus, Be2gether, Tele2 Beach Party etc sharing stages with the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Pete Doherty, ATB and many more.
The video for the first single off the album, "Long.Some.Distance" is currently on rotation on Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian and Swedish MTV. It was directed by Henrik Hanson, editor of Swedish music video genius Jonas Akerlund.
Tour in Scandinavia will follow in autumn 2009.
