I didn't know a key change was something you had to earn. The pretentiousness of this review is too much

What they said about the production being "thin" is true and by "unearned", I guess they mean that the key change lacks build-up in the arrangement and doesn't feel like a natural climax, kinda, which I personally agree with

I don't hate the song. I think it's a sloppy rough demo that needed tons of work before being put out as an album track (never a single). The potential is there and it kinda grew on me. She had a melody, a concept and her vocals during the end and the bridge were amazing. But... IDK.

aw I feel sorry for Gaga, shes obviously tried so hard, but has evidently lost her touch.

They will still praise her album, hihi. They just won't be able to keep themselves from stanning considering Florence, John Misty, Beck, Ronson and Parker are on the album :sistren:

I agree though. I don't like listening to it because you can tell so much effort was put into it but it's just not good it's just OK/underwhelming.

they're basically the biggest indie music blog, they stan hard for... let's just say urban artists.
they're known for being pretty vicious and having really high standards (hence their name, pitchfork like the devil)

they stanned the fame monster tho

They became famous by trashing everything. Somehow that made them more respected than other websites
If you want good reviews from them, give them tracks to premiere on their website or perform at the Pitchfork festival.
They aren't better than any typical atrl troll
