Nicki Minaj has placed more songs (35) on Billboard‘s Hot Rap Songs chart than any other female. She leads runner-up Missy Elliott, with 15. The rapper has tallied the third-most entries (61) of any female artist in the Billboard Hot 100’s 56-year history. Only Aretha Franklin (73) and Taylor Swift (69) boast more.
Quote:
Grammy Award-nominated superstar, Nicki Minaj, continues to break records and impact pop culture at large. Her critically lauded third full-length album, The Pinkprint arrived at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, cementing her as rap’s reigning queen. Minaj recently made history, simultaneously occupying four top 10 spots on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop airplay chart and becoming the first female artist to achieve the feat. Minaj also stands at the top of the pop vanguard. The double-platinum “Anaconda” set the record for most VEVO views in 24 hours. Outside of music, she has starred in films including Ice Age: Continental Drift and The Other Woman in addition to judging American Idol.
I'm going to begin updating the thread soon. I know I keep saying that, but I've been working at my job, working on my craft (writing), and trying to enjoy my free time! I promise I'll start updating very soon. Just needed to post this because there are a couple tidbits that I need to doublecheck (i.e. I have a smaller total for her Rap Songs entries, but that's most likely due to it being outdated quite a bit.)
Also, I've posted a handful of times in the HQ thread and none of the mods pay any attention to my request for more posts in the OP. I've collected radio data as well as data for the Billboard radio charts and I really want to add them to the thread, but I'm waiting for a mod to fulfill my request! Gonna go try again now. fjladsfdsds

I don't believe that Bedrock counts for her. I remember watching some video and Wayne said she was suppose to be on the original, which peaked at #2, but didn't because she went somewhere. She was on the remix, which didn't chart as high, though .
