It's fine to say she's overrated, which I can see because the praise for her can be overwhelmingly over the top and a bit much at times. But you pretty much can't deny her talent.

"Overrated" definition is simple for some : "people love something, finding it excellent but I don't quite share their feeling".

Exactly. Everything people praise her for, she has the qualities to back up the statements. She's beautiful, she's an exceptional vocalist, a great dancer and performer and she's genuinely kind to everyone

Overrated =/= untalented.

She is indeed overrated and treated like a god without much substance to back up that image. She's even been used as a tool to demean other artists who are more artistically and creatively involved than her (prime example: Beck). It's ridiculous.

Shes not the best vocalist either, she is one heck of a singer but they are way better singers, shes not the best dancer either any one can do what she does its just her performaces can be camp and over the top. And im sorry but shes a bad actress to i know shes panned for her acting but i actually think shes really bad.

But yea shes pretty and can sing but shes a machine and has a great team behind her. But as a all rounder? Nope there are plenty of other girls that can do it all bigger and better
