On May 15, 1990, a singer-songwriter arrived on the scene with her debut single, "Vision of Love." The song not only became her first of 18 #1 singles, but ignited a career spanning 25 years that inspired countless musicians today, who admire Mariah Carey for her impressive vocal range, songwriting skills, and her longevity. Since her arrival with VoL, Mariah has collected 5 GRAMMYs, has sold over 200M albums worldwide (including several Diamond albums in the US), and has TWO Billboard Songs of the Decade (One Sweet Day; We Belong Together). Despite a waning popularity at the turn of the century, Mariah returned stronger than ever with The Emancipation of Mimi, a reminder that despite personal struggles, a changing music scene, or new pop girls who steal her samples or show up uninvited to her parties, Mariah will always excel where it counts: the music. THE MUSIC

So that the list of songs can be kept to a manageable length, this rate will include all tracks on Mariah's 12 standard studio albums (including interludes), but not her Christmas albums. (I don't know how long the rate will run; that depends on when people can gather and how many songs are revealed per day. I'll try to post songs at a time that works for users in various time zones.)
