I don't think Blackout was even submitted and if it was, it was submitted in the wrong categories. Her label is always submitting her stuff in the wrong categories.

Because her music is artificial. You dont get a sense that she has talent when listening to her music, and it tends to be over-produced and her voice too animated.

She's not snubbed. Most of her music is not Grammy worthy by any stretch of the imagination.

Basically it's either the wrong categories all the time, or the wrong songs.

I actually think the title should be other, something like "Why is Britney Spears always snubbed at awards shows?" because she really is. This era has seriously annoyed me, since she wasn't given the credit for the masterpiece that "Femme Fatale" is, VMAs snubbed her, EMAs snubbed her, AMAs snubbed her and now Grammy. Well, I was not expecting her to be nominated, but now they even "banned her from her place", Britney is one of artists that best define Pop and actually Dance Music, so why ban her from the dance categories? They are so ****ing stupid and they got me frustrated.

This year was an amazing year for Britney, three successful singles, one sold out tour, a platinum album, but award-wise (not her fault) she could have done way better. I would like to understand why do they snub the most iconic artist of our generation, but hey, that's just me.
