In 2002, Britney Spears released special remixed versions of album tracks from her third album Britney. One exclusively for the American market ("Overprotected" remixed by Darkchild), and one ("Boys" remixed by the Neptunes and featuring Pharrell on vocals) promoting both the Britney album and the Austin Powers: Goldmember movie (although in her cameo appearance in the movie, the album version is heard instead of the remix). Which remix is better?

"Boys" is a SEXXAY song, but I got to veer more towards "Overprotected". The Britney album was great as a whole though.

Definitely Boys.

Overprotected is actually a MUCH MUCH better song.
But the remix turned a masterpiece into garbage.

Meanwhile, a horrid song like Boys got transformed into something that was kind of decent
