I just saw A Most Violent Year, and omg Oscar Isaac is so hot, I wish he was in contention for Best Actor

The acting noms will be much more interesting than the winners, which are all settled except maybe Best Actor where Redmayne has like a 20% chance.

So many choices for the 4th and 5th best actor slots. Oyelowo? Gylenhaal? Cooper? Carrell? Fiennes?

And Aniston vs Adams?

Can Russo get into supporting instead of, presumably, Chastain? And I'm still not letting go of Dern as a nominee!

I was gonna make my own thread but I guess I'll just bump this! So excited! I hope Whiplash and Gone Girl gets nominations for Picture and Director.

I need to watch Boyhood. I'm gonna make it my mission to see all of the Oscar nominated movies this year.

I want Patricia Arquette to win Supporting Actress. I believe that she stole every scene of Boyhood.

I've already seen over half of the most likely Picture nominees. Still need to watch Theory of Everything and Selma. Probably won't watch Sniper or Foxcatcher. I believe I've seen all other major contenders.
