Hello! My name is Val. Welcome to a unique social experiment designed to push fourteen humans to their absolute physical, mental, and emotional breaking points. Locked in a house and cut off from all human contact, they are not competing against themselves but against each other. In the end, only one will remain. He, or she, will leave the with five hundred thousand dollars. My role is to observe what makes humans strong and what makes them weak: to push, to prod, and to discover who will crack next. Welcome to my world. I am your only companion. In The List, I am your only friend. Let us begin.
This game takes place in a world where the show Big Brother does not exist. The rules of this game will follow US Big Brother/Survivor with its own unique twists and turns. For more information on rules/regulations, read below:
This game will follow the traditional rules of the American reality show Big Brother and Survivor.
At the beginning of each round, there will be an Immunity Challenge called Most Valuable Player (MVP) Competition. If you are in the top half of the list, then you are safe. The winner of this competition will become the MVP. They will also have the duty of nominating two other houseguests for Banishment that was in the bottom half of the list. (Note: You cannot win MVP back-to-back unless otherwise specified.)
But the nominees have the chance to save themselves in a Power of Prohibition (POP) competition. Every person in the house will play in this competition. The winner will hold the POP and have the ability to change one of the MVP's nominations. If they choose to use it on one nominee, the MVP must put up a replacement from the remaining houseguests in the bottom half of the list.
At the end of each round, we will have two nominees. Everyone aside from the MVP and the nominees will vote to evict one of the two final nominees. That person will leave The List House permanently.
All votes cast must be done in a separate thread designated in your Diary Room. In order for your vote to be accepted, you must include a goodbye message for each nominee that week. There is a minimum of one word for a goodbye message.
A typical due date will be 24 hours after the deadline has been posted. If there is no specification for a deadline, assume that it is 24 hours. (This goes for competitions, ceremonies, and voting).
Each competition will fall under certain categories:
-Live: If the challenge is live, that means that being on at the time it is posted is essential to win. You will be notified of a live challenge at least 24 hours before it is posted. If more than half of the remaining houseguests cannot attend, it will be changed to a non-live challenge.
-Semi-Live: The challenge will be posted at a given time, and being on at that time could greatly help you win, but it is not necessarily essential.
-Non-Live: The challenge will be done over a period of 24 hours (or more) and you can work with other houseguests to succeed.
-Endurance: The challenge will require you to designate a significant amount of your time in order to win. The name explains the concept of these competitions.
