This game will be co-hosted between Jake and world-renowned and creative genius Matty. We both wanted to bring the genius of this game to ATRL, so we teamed up together and the result is this game. This game requires players to be actively involved in terms of PMs and commenting, so make sure you're able to handle that.
AboutYou're probably wondering just what is Opposite Worlds, right?
ATRL's Opposite Worlds is based off the Chilean TV competition series, Mundos Opuestos, and its recent US equivalent, Opposite Worlds. The game is essentially composed of elements of both Big Brother and Survivor, with it's own originality thrown into the mix. You will not only be playing as teammates, but you'll also be playing individually at the same time.
GameplayThere will be 18 contestants that will be divided into two teams of 9. Each week will see the teams competing against one another in an online game or activity titled
The World Challenge. The winners will have a special ability that will be announced when the game begins. The two teams will then decide which one of their teammates (for a total of two, one from each team) will become
Protected. Those who are Protected will then compete in the second game of the week to ultimately become the
Decider. The Decider has the ability to nominate one person from each team, excluding the other protector, to compete in the
Duel. The Duel will essentially take place concurrently with the next World Challenge; where those in the Duel will be competing individually leaving the loser to be eliminated and the winner's score to be added to his or her's team score. At the end,
two will ultimately be crowned winners.
