Do you remember when she got the plaque for 8 million a few months ago? Those were clearly shipments as The Fame was on aobut 6 million sales, it's now at almost 8 million so I guess they shipped out some more.
I think he got confused and added The Fame Monster EP & Deluxe together, which is almost 2 mill (double plat), while Billboard counts the deluxe as a rerelease.
