The intro and "Dark Horse" were EPIC and visually iconic. Very much on an Olympic Opening Ceremony level more than a Superbowl Halftime Show level. Unfortunately, it kind of fizzled from there. "Teenage Dream"/"California Gurls" just brought everything down to Basicville. Luckily, Missy Elliot came out and got the energy and hype going. The "Firework" ending wasn't very exciting visually for viewers, but from within the stadium I'm sure it was a great experience watching the pyrotechnics.
