'This vote doesn't represent the younger generation who will have to live with the consequences': Millennials vent fury at baby boomers for voting Britain OUT of the EU

Quote:
These young people need to remember that 40 years ago, when the first referendum was held, the young people of the day were lied to and sold a bill of goods. They were promised a common market. Not a political super state. This was their chance to correct a wrong and they are totally within their right to do so. That's democracy.
So right. These young people are so self entitled. The older generation have just as much right to vote as anybody.

I agree with the sentiment, even if their "no one is illegal" sign is a bit extreme.
Not gonna lie, I was wondering this morning whether there would be riots (yes, I mean proper riots), and I wouldn't be completely against them if they fixed the current situation... Not that I'd participate though.
