Discussion: Could Beyonce ever get a hit single again?

If any other major pop girl had numbers like these, they'd be seen as flops. Beyonce used to be a hit maker, especially around the BDay era however she hasn't seemed to be able to achieve another real smash since 2009 (Single Ladies)
So what do you think? Could she get another hit, if given the right song? Or are her hit making days over?

If she actually promoted these singles Beyoncé a single performance then yes, but she obviously doesn't care about single success.

Well, not perse that she doesn't seem to be able anymore. She's matured and given the music quality a higher priority. She could get a hit if she wanted to (SOTS would've done amazingly)

Who cares about singles when Beyonce is selling albums, if i could choose i rather be an album artist than a single artist.

Beyonce is currently outselling all her contemporaries with her album!

I'm not sure. All her biggest hits (except maybe CIL) have been relatively local, so I guess she could get a hit if it was US-only.

I mean, Beyonce doesn't really care about a HIT single. Beyonce is making music that will stand the test of time. Who cares about a single, when the album is selling like Hotcakes.

Some artists NEED a hit single to sell their album, Beyonce does not.

Speaking objectively... I think that she would've had a better chance with this album had she released the lead single after the Superbowl performance but releasing everything all at once basically killed momentum for a top single.

The album has sold 3.5 million WW, around the same as any Rihanna album.

If bey is an album artist selling 3.5 million, then so is Rihanna.
