Music Videos

The color blocking is wonderful in this music video. I would describe it as rich and vibrant. The video is simple but graphically pleasing. The way Natalie moves is ethereal. Natalie also has this classic beauty about her that is accentuated by the different colors. Sorry Taylor, but the red lip looks amazing on Natalie in this video, I think that I prefer hers.




Courtney just can't seem to catch a break in her expressive music video for Pedestrian at Best. I love the premise of a washed up clown who has fallen from grace just trying to do her best. I could commiserate with Courtney throughout this video. I also like the underlying message of there's always something newer and more exciting right behind you. She's a damn hot clown too.

This story is compelling. I know the hunter becomes the hunted storyline is kind of a cliche, but here the road to climax is so charged until the satisfying ending that it seems fresh. Besides, it mostly focuses on the subject's desperate journey to survive her pursuers. I really enjoy the use of robots and also the movements that are synchronized with the beat. The landscape and lighting are gorgeous. They complement each other very well and help set the stage. Every movement, every act of survival holds my attention until the gratifying ending.



Tomorrow I will post #3 and also the third worst video of the year!

Yeah so true, it definitely made me see her in a new light. It's definitely the opposite of "Why Don't You Believe In Me"
