Calvin Harris has admitted that he won't feature on Rihanna's new album as he wasn't given enough time to write a hit.
The DJ revealed that she asked him to come up with another song for her seventh studio album Unapologetic, following the success of 2011's 'We Found Love'.
"Rihanna's been recording her next album and I saw her and she said, 'You have to do something for my album! We need you'," Harris told BBC Newsbeat.
"Then you're like, 'No, I need to do this'. So then you go into the studio and you're like, 'I need to sit here and I've got two days to make probably one of the best records that I'll ever make in my life'.
"Obviously I didn't do anything, so I'm not on the record. I did a decent tune, but you can't work under that kind of pressure. I can't anyway."
Two days to write a hit and Calvin saying: "you can't work under that kind of pressure."
What does this say about Rihanna having to pump out albums, promotional shoots, performances and tours yearly...

I mean I love her to death and I'm not complaining about a new album, tour or music; but if Calvin couldn't be on Unapologetic because of lack of time......gurl....
See, this just proves that its so different if she enjoys always recording music and putting out material then her having to release a new album every black friday and doing crunch time.
Its fine if she had recorded enough material by september for a new album every year, but why rush it?
