Katy Perry was reportedly introduced to her new boyfriend Robert Ackroyd by none other than Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson.
Perry was spotted getting close to Robert, who plays guitar in Florence +The Machine, at both of this year's Coachella Festival weekends - the first time she has been spotted with a man since her divorce from husband Russell Brand was finalised in January 2012.
Fans wondering how the pair met can ponder no more however, as The Sun have the inside scoop on the newest couple in music.
The tabloid paper reports that Robert and Katy had dinner at the Chateau Marmont hotel in LA earlier this week with her stylist Johnny Wujek as well as actors Shannon Woodward and Markus Molinari.
A source said: “Rob had his arm around Katy while the group were chatting. He looked very at ease. It’s early days but she’s confident it may be going somewhere.”
