London Grammar debuted in 2013 with
Metal & Dust but it wasn't until a few months later that this song together with
Disclosure's collaboration (
Helping Lose My Mind) rocketed their career. Their album debut at #2 in
UK charts.
Note: The camera shot is amazing although I dislike the blurriness of the video.
Hannah Reid's shot are beautiful.
Julieta Venegas came back to music scene after 3 years. She's one of the few Latin female singers to pickup a
Grammy Award and the only Mexican female singer to won one. She used to sing on ska/rock Mexican band
Tijuana No.
Note: The violence of the video is kinda worth until the choreography. However, the video matches with the song in a figurative way.
No Freedom is the lead single from
Girl Who Got Away. It had a moderate performance in
Europe. I must confess that she has been lost since
Safe Trip Home and the last memorable song was
Life For Rent. We need those memorable songs again Dido. (
If I Rise is the exception).
Note: The colours of the video are amazing and the scene where the balloons are passing behind her is outstanding.
Pyramid is a French producer and upcoming artist. He's more in the line of
Daft Punk rather than
David Guetta's line.
Note: The lesson of the video is: don't betray someone or the consequences will be bad.
The winners of season 8 of
X Factor UK and the first group to win it so far. How Ya Doin' is the 4th single form their debut album,
DNA featuring the amazing
Missy Elliot. We want some hits from her right?
Note:
Perrie Edwards looks like a doll sometimes with her pink hair and big blue eyes. This video reminds me to
Bootylicious from
Destiny's Child (just because the yellow background and the weird faces from the girls).
