As 2013 comes to a close, it's time to take a look at the artists you listened to the most on PureVolume this year. While Billboard's top charts were dominated by the likes of Miley Cyrus, Pitbull and Florida Georgia Line, PureVolume's chart-toppers offered a true alternative to the mainstream. 2013 on PV was a year of many new discoveries — from New Orleans indie rockers Royal Teeth to Portland duo Dresses — as well as stellar returns from the tried and true (Paramore, Tegan and Sara, Never Shout Never).

1. Paramore — "Now"
Paramore kicked off 2013 with a vengeance and haven't slowed down all year, touring relentlessly around the world in support their self-titled fourth album, with several high-profile TV gigs and festival headlining spots along the way. They dropped this awesome jam back in January to offer a first-taste of the album...and you haven't stopped listening to it ever since.
2. The Wonder Years — "Passing Through A Screen Door"
3. Never Shout Never — "Malibu"
4. Tegan and Sara — "Closer"
5. A Perfect Circle — "Weak & Powerless" (Live At Red Rocks)
6. Allison Weiss — "Nothing Left"
7. Twin Forks — "Back To You"
