I didn't watch that clip, but from what I can see its from winx club and Aisha/Layla usually has curly, thick locks that look like natural black hair and she's proud of it? They even made dolls with the hair like that. I think she just didn't like the style because she felt it's outdated. If there's anything that's in the video that says otherwise let me know. I couldn't watch cause of Internet usage
okay a youtube comment points out what i was gonna say in this thread:

UGH people need to do research before they spread misinformation.
1.This isn't Nickelodeon's version (NICK didn't even dub the first season of this show, FOX 4kids did)
2.This version NEVER aired in America. It literally only aired in random countries like Singapore and Malaysia
3. In the American FOX 4kids dub they CHANGED it so that the girl was crying over having a squeaky voice, NOT her hair.
4. This episode aired 12 YEARS ago. Is this really the time to be bringing it up now??
I'm sorry but people need to really choose their battles. I'm sure there are more important things that need your attention than an extremely old episode of a crappy Italian cartoon.
not to mention that the current african-american character on winx club has curly hair
this is the version that aired in America. Her voice was squeaky, it had nothing to do with her hair
Im sure that they (singapore/malaysia) weren't trying to make fun of black hair that version.they probably were saying her hair was extremely frizzy hence the "my hair went poof from just walking down the hallway".
