Rihanna was awesome. She really doesn't have rhythm--the walking around the stage is awkward, and oddly the burst of dancing was much better--but her singing was great and she has presence. It was nice seeing those celebrities looking thoroughly surprised clapping for her at the end.

Well her usual performances are lackluster at best. I don't think they expected the verve she put into this one. It was a coming-of-age, so to speak. Hopefully we'll see more of it in the future.
