Remember Alanis Morissette’s song “Isn’t It Ironic”? In the seven days since the launch of Apple Music, Spotify had its best week ever in Apple’s U.S. App Store, Bloomberg reports. Apple Music’s chief competitor spent five straight days as the #9 iPhone app in the States, a spot it hadn't reached since December 2013. Spotify has since slipped to #10, but that’s still ahead of the app’s performance for nearly every day in its history.
It makes sense for people to try competitors before they buy. Apple Music may be some peoples' first experience with a streaming service, so before they commit they are going to want to see what else is out there.
I hate people who jump to companies that have been **** for so long. It's like how in my home town there was two airlines Air New Zealand and Origin, and Air NZ wanted Origin out so they lowered their prices heaps, made heaps of big deals and forced Origin to close - and the minute they did, Air NZ had a monopoly and the prices shot up and have been high and unreasonable for years. This is what will happen if you all flee to Apple, they are the absolute epitome of corporation - and give me Umbrella from Resident Evil teas.
