Obviously inspired by the Rihanna bashing discussion. Now let's focus on Beyonce.
Okay i really like her. I do. But for me the iconic things from her are
1. Single Ladies(the dance of course)
2. Crazy in Love
3. Irreplaceable.
But in terms of any fashion statement,i seriously don't see her being anywhere near iconic. I mean sure she busts her assets out like no one,but as a fashion icon,meh.
What about her videos?
For me,just single ladies. Irreplaceable clearly didn't have that much going on,RTW was just flying high with the hype around the release but now barely anyone even talks about it.
What else from her videos? I am sure the stans will provide a never ending list,but i ask the people who just like her,or just enjoy her stuff,or even those who don't. Do you remember much from her music video collection?
Sure she has some great live performances,but the billboard one definitely has been rather controversial. i guess we all know why though.
Many brag about her Grammys. Great. But even the hardcore beyhive loathes IASF,and well as we all know,that one gave her the most awards in a single night whereas Bday and 4 was snubbed like crazy. So isn't it a bit awkward to brag about the grammy wins for an album you thought was worse in her discography?
So my question is,other than being big as a global superstar,what will people remember Beyonce for? And please don't mention songs and things that the general crowd does not even nowadays let alone years from now.
Also another thing. Sure 4 is a iconic album among the atrl users. But i wanna remind you that it didn't sell that much WW,so how will it be remembered if people don't know about it?
