(or wait for the new iPhone, assuming it comes out this summer)

I'm upgrading from BlackBerry Bold 9700. I'm not really a "iPhone person", but I've recently upgraded my Nano to an iPod Touch, and was surprised how easy and quick it is to use. Steve Jobs said the iTouch is a "training wheels" tool so people could use the iPhone. It's so much easier to use to get on the internet, etc compared to Blackberry. Maybe it's because it's touch screen, but that's why I potentially might upgrade to Blackberry Bold Touch.

Anyways, help me out! And I am not looking to upgrade to any other phones - not interested in no Galaxy, Nokia or other crap.

Blackberry Bold Touch is the same as a blackberry but the only diff is its Touch.
It's more easier to use iPhone to go on Internet. Trust Me

if you get a phone now, get the iphone 4s. if you are willing to wait, get the "iphone 5"

if you look at the blackberry ad's wording, it's ridiculously vague...

1. hd video recording (that could mean 720p... and there are phones now that record in 1080p -- like the iphone 4s)

2. thinnest blackberry smartphone ever... well, it's great that it's the thinnest blackberry, but blackberry isn't competing against itself, it's competing against other phones... that are even thinner than the "thinnest blackberry smartphone ever"

3. liquid graphics touch screen... that's their way of saying it's "clear" like liquid... but the iphone already has the "retina display" which is incredibly clear as well, and touch screens aren't anything new

of the two phones actually in production, the 4s is superior.

Chile, **** a Blackberry. I had one and that **** is ratchet and SLOW. I recently got an iPhone 4S and I recommend that.

Definitley, because I have the iTouch and I could tell compared to my bold. But I think it's because it's a touch phone, that's why it's easier, that's why I thought of upgrading to a Bold Touch

My iphone 4 shattered(still works) and I can't decide between getting a 4s or waiting....

I'd go with Iphone, whether you wait for the 5 or not

I've only used blackberries my whole life though

I never ever thought about moving to iPhone until I got my iPod Touch

PS I got a blackberry and an ipod touch. Yes, the iPod touch performs better. What more could the 4S be. If that wasn't too expensive I would've gotten that.

If you need a phone now then get the 4S. The 5 won't come out until the Summer/Fall of this year. Don't wait if you always want the latest tech. In the tech world, you'll always be waiting for the next best thing.

People who are voting for "Wait for iPhone 5" I'm including that vote as iPhone, but yeah, that's another problem I have. I've dropped my blackberry tons of times, still in perfect condition (literally).

Get a 4S now, sell it for $500+ when the iPhone 5 comes out and get an early upgrade.

I also had a Blackberry Bold 9700 before I got my iPhone and I don't miss a thing. iOS is much more open and a lot more enjoyable to use. I loved my Bold's keyboard but I've gotten used to using the iPhone's touchscreen one. Everything about the iPhone is just a lot more convenient and the design is so nice. Make sure you get a case the day you buy it tho, that glass scratches easily.

If your 4 is working, wait for the 5. The difference between the 4 and 4S is not enough to upgrade when the 5 will be a DRAMATIC leap forward (like the 3GS to 4).
