I would have liked TLC better if Chilli was the lead singer. I hate T-boz's voice with a passion. She just can't sing. At least DC had good singers so i choose them

I don't think you can really compare. TLC had the bad girls with a message vibe and DC were the girls next door. Apples and oranges besides them both being black girl groups.

I prefer DC though.

Basically. I'm not that big a fan of DC, but was/am a huge TLC fan...so yeah, TLC is the clear winner AFAIC.

However, Beyonce herself proved to have more IT-factor than any TLC member individually, since all their solo endeavors failed.

So it balances out for me. TLC was the better group, Beyonce is the better star.

By Far, while both TLC and DC had good music TLC's highs are higher than DC's high. TLC was far more innovative and much more involved in their craft, they were ahead of the pack, Musically, sonically, and socially. They were an all around better group.

No. Destiny's Child took the girl-group movement to a whole another level and as you can see there hasn't been a girl-group since DC to pick up where they left off.

TLC in general has a better body of work. I love both though.

For me, I have always thought that TLC has the better album discography while Destiny's Child has more memorable singles.

I revisited both group's discographies a while ago and TLC's albums stuck to me so much more than DC's. I found myself skipping through a lot of DC's tracks because they sound dated and, honestly, boring. I do enjoy their singles a lot tho... Playlist: The Very Best of Destiny's Child & Love Songs are all I need from them tbh.

I don't think that is enough to consider TLC "superior" over DC... It just means that I like TLC more lol.
