-Only videos from official channels for videos released after 01 January 2000.
-Visits of different videos with alternate versions/remixes/versions not merged.
-For videos released 2009 or before, song release date is counted. For videos released 2009 or later, video premier date is counted. (This is because VEVO didnt exist before 2009 and thus, its impossible to know the exact release date of each music video and its visits each year)
-Only the most viewed video of a song will count even if secondary videos have enough views to make the yearly top 10 unless those secondary videos of the song correspond to a clear artist/feature/lyric-modified version.
-We all know you-tube wasn't always the same as it is today, so even though some pre-digital era songs may be paid dust, all artists from that time are playing this with the same rules. This can be a way to see which old songs made it to the digital era as well.
