Two people have been killed and at least four others were seriously injured in a shooting near a pub in Tel Aviv, Israel, police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told CNN Friday.
Large numbers of police officers in Tel Aviv are searching for the suspect, Israeli police spokesperson Luba Samri told CNN.
"From the initial investigation of the incident, it is not possible to determine if this is a criminal or terror attack. Both directions are being investigated," Samri told CNN.
An unnamed eyewitness said the shooter was carrying an M16 assault rifle and was light-skinned and did not look Eastern, Israeli website Haaretz reported.
Gali Morag, who lives opposite the scene of the shooting, said she heard gunfire and saw a young man dressed in black and wearing a wool cap running down the street, with others running after him, according to Haaretz.

Poor Israel. They literally get the smallest piece of arable land to actually be able to live on and they still get attacked daily by people who hate them for no valid reason.
I don't think they were trying to offend, it just came out a bit wrong.
It's no secret that many Palestenians tend to join various terrorist organizations and/or support them, the real issue at heart is that is how we can stop that and embrace the moderate Palestinians who stand up against such vile actions.

Well I would argue that Israel too has had its fair share of military abuse on some Palestinians. I think both sides are ought to be condemned for a lot of what they did and need to start creating common ground to solve the issue diplomatically and peacefully.
