"It might take 10 thousand words for me to explain how this little group has changed my life over the past two years because it is so nuanced and detailed and there are so many levels to it but at the same time I feel like I could also explain it in 1; Love. Also, God. But maybe Love and God are One to me. It’s a feeling that I am sure we have all experienced, or have hopefully experienced, at least in a moment, at one time in our lives while around a child where it just hits you like a ton of bricks how in awe of them you are… how in awe of the human race you are. How shocking it is that they are so small yet their energy is so big that it outshines any one else’s in a room… That all they have to do is be and everyone walking down the street wants to stop and look at the baby! When I first came to “youth mentoring” I had in my mind that I was meant to “mentor” them. I soon realized that I would be the one learning more of the REAL life lessons than I even had the capacity to teach. This group of children, each one of you individually, for those that follow me, is so special it makes me want to scream!!! I idolize you, YOU ARE MAGIC. Do not ever underestimate your intuition or your power to do ANYTHING you put your mind to. There is more love on this planet than we can fathom even though the news will scan the globe to prove otherwise. Continue to show us the light. Thank you to the parents who allow me to be a part of their children’s lives and to @redeye for this priceless introduction and all that you do for so many. Thank you to @ayesoleil @ednadee @simmie_sims for helping me make this day possible. I imagined when I got this studio that it would be a place that could bring people together and I’m constantly excited for it to continue to do so, especially in the name of Art (the second greatest thing to Love and God and Children, but I’m biased) … Or maybe they’re alll One. #AMAZING"
