I'd prefer if you kept track of your own points.
Charts
Every week there will be a singles chart (Saturday) and an album chart (Sunday). The charts will only have CAL's official singles and albums that have been released prior to the chart (no preorders charting). To help me out, all labels post a list of what promo they've done throughout the week on Fridays.
Promo
In order to make your artist successful, you have to do promo for the song/album. However, this promo costs points.
Since things will get really complicated otherwise, you can only perform at three places:
• SNL (costs 8 points) – Saturdays, only one artist
• Awards show (costs 12 points) – Thursdays, up to three artists
• Ellen Show (costs 5 points) – Monday, only one artist
These slots can be purchased every friday at 1PM, first come; first served.
These will also contribute to your artist's success.
Touring
When you tour it is 2 points per date and you must have at least 5 dates.
Singles
When you want to release a single, make sure you know these details:
• The artist
• The song title
• The genre
• Any additional details
You can only release a single every week. Releasing a song only costs 5 points, but keep in mind it will probably flop hard with no promo.
Albums
When you want to release a single, make sure you know these details:
• The artist
• The album title
• The track list
• The genre
• Any additional details
You can only release an album every other week. Releasing an album costs 10 points, but keep in mind it will probably flop hard with no promo.
Publicity Stunts
There's a lot of different things you could do for publicity. You can post them in the thread most of the time without contacting me now, but if it's really out of the ordinary I would prefer if you PMed me to approve it.
Inactivity
If you won't be able to continue in the game, please contact me to tell me. However, if you just forget about the game, after two weeks on inactivity (inactivity=not posting at all), your artist(s) will go back on bid.
Banned
If banned, you can still play the game by contacting me outside of ATRL through e-mail or Twitter. If you don't contact me, however, you still keep all of your points and artists, but they do not chart while you're gone.
