The S7 is one of the finest phones I've ever tested, while the Edge has the screen and battery to (mostly) satisfy mobile movie buffs and phablet diehards.
So what’s my first reaction? I’ll be honest, it’s love. Like the iPhone 6S, which I gushed about, and got called a fanboy over, I think the S7 is epic.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is a worthy recipient of a five-star techradar review. That's no easy feat – only a handful of phones have ever hit the top mark – but the Galaxy S7 has earned its place in our hall of fame.
The Galaxy S7 Edge is current state-of-the-art. It's the best-crafted, most powerful smartphone on the market, with the biggest battery, and the most cutting-edge components you can get. That's enough to make it our Editors' Choice.
It looks great. Feels great. Lasts forever. Has a stellar camera. Packs in every conceivable piece of technology you could possibly want. And the entire thing is waterproof (up to five feet deep for 30 minutes).
This phone is the closest Samsung—or any other phone maker—has ever come to making the perfect smartphone.
The display on the Galaxy S7 matches and even exceeds the performance of Galaxy Note 5 that we tested in 2015 and rated it as the Best Performing Smartphone Display that we had ever tested.
iPhone 6s is still faster. Plus, I don't want to look like a ****ing anime character whenever I take selfies.
So you pay 700 dollars a phone to load twitter 2 seconds faster, mostly because of how limited the OS is ? I'm baffled how people can brag about that and snapchat pictures, over a better camera, a much better OLED screen that's even VR compatible, and a futuristic design. Thanks God critics are not that blind !
