Prince Donte presents The Best of 2012 Class of 2013
This is my best of countdown of 2012. I will be counting down the top 30 albums of the year and the top 40 songs which includes singles album track and leaks. Some songs and albums on the lists may have came out in late 2011 and I did not discover them until this year, so some might appear on my lists. My countdown will have loads of variety from the most popular of hits to the biggest flops of the year. I have a special place in my heart for the flops. So keep it cute when it comes to them. Anyway I hope you enjoy my countdown as much as i enjoy making it.

30. No Doubt Push and Shove
No Doubt retunes from a 11 year hiatus with a less than stellar album however it does shine at times Looking hot sparkle and heaven save it making No doubt worthy for the 30 spot.
29. Kate Earl Stronger
Indie singer Kate Earl gives hipster indie pop slayage with her 2012 effort stronger it’s tiled track not to be confused with Kelly Clarkson 2011 hit, is a uplifting song that bring a bright smile to my face.

27. Regina Spektor What We Saw from the Cheap Seats
What we saw id the latest endeavor from Regina which a huge step up from her last release. Regina quirky anti folk lyrics gives a bookish so much life
26. Soap and Skin Narrow
Soap and Skin has been an indie fave of mine for quite some time. Narrow to me is her best release yet. Her melancholic vocals melt into your years. Narrow is somber yet eventful.
25. Emeli Sande Our Version of Events
Emeli a break out star from U.K. debut is a rose of soulful greatness songs Mountains Daddy and River are full of well written lyrics from Emlu her self she’s one of the best song writers around.
24. Crystal Castles III
The Electronic duo Crystal Castles never ceases to amaze me. Their music is highly creative and give you disco fever. III is one of their best works yet. I’m glad I bought this album you must give it a go yourself
23. Matchbox Twenty –North
Matchbox Twenty has been a fave band of mine since I was a child. I have found memoirs of listening to them on my Walkman and it’s nice to have new music from them this year Overjoyed is a rock gem one of the best of the year/
22. Rebecca Ferguson Heaven
X factor runner up Rebecca Ferguson drop her debut album in the u.s this year. Heaven is a pleasant album from a singer with a pleasant love Nothing’s real but Love and Glitter and gold are the definition on soul they hits your hard with it’s truthful lyrics that I think every one can relate to.
21.G.O.O.D Music Cruel Summer
Kanye's label Good Music drop a steller compilation this year this was an album that was pushed back for some time but the wait was worth it Sin city and Mercy are by the rap rap songs this year Kanye would not put his name on anything that is sub par and Cruel Summer is far from it
20. Susan Boyle Standing Ovation
Susan may not be a hot and dexy pop star but her voice is pure gold Susan takes on songs from the srage her covers of Memeory the winner takes all and Send in the clown shows her golden ipes off well very glad she dropped new music this year
19. Pink The Truth About Love
Pop star Pink came through this year with one of her best works yet Pink shows her rebel as well as her sweet side on this album she wants to have fun but also wants to be in love the perfect album to vibe to
18. Agnes Veritas
Swedish singer Agnes album took me by storm is is a very cohesive album of perfect pop gems One Last Time and Walk out her here are perfection Glad I decided to give this album a listen after a being bored on an afternoon day
17. Medina Forever
Danish singer Medina has been on my radar for some time but her album Forever made me really appreciate her work. Happening Good to you and and the Rique Threesome are true tunes this is an album not to miss out on if you love pop
16. Jackie Evanco Songs From the Silver Screen
Tiny Classical Crossover singer Jackie has a voice that far more mature than her age on this album Jackie talke silver screen classics Like one of my fave songs of all time. Pure Imagination from Charlie and the chocolate factory you have to give this girl credit she can hang with the best of them which is impressive for her young age
15. Melanie Fiona The MF Lie
Melanie delivered one of the best R&B album of the year Melanie voice is one of the best in the game right now his album shines with every track Wrong Side of a Love Song and Love your like a love song are highlights
14. Niki and the Dove -Instinct
Electronic Duo Niki and the Dove Are like no other Instinct is both innovative and immaculate. The Drummer and the Gentle Roar are some of the best songs of the year you must check this out if you haven’t
13. Elle Varner Perfectly Imperfect
One of the best new artist of the year Elle Varner has one of the most unique voices I’ve heard in a while. This album reminds me of the classic good R&B albums where it flows perfectly from track to track.
12. Alicia Keys Girl on Fire*
Alicia Keys is a stable in music today shows is not to be written off with Girl on fie This album is soulful Ride. Limitedless and 101 are very good in many ways the production and Mrs. Keys’ Voice and lyric sand a wonder combination of juicy R&B goodness.*
11. Keyshia Cole Woman to Woman*
Cole is back with a seller album Keyshia had a lot to prove after her last lackluster album Calling All Hearts. Keyshia pulls out all the stops with this one a great team of producers and her powerful vocals makes this on of her best albums to date. Keyshia is back to her best.
10. Rihanna Unapologetic
Rihanna’s annual release is a lot better than her last effort. This time she pulled all stops. I realy do enjoy this album. No Love Allowed and Love Without tragedy are clearly two of the best songs of the year. You can always count on Rihanna to give some fresh tunes every year. Good for her, Great for pop music lovers.*
9. Rita Ora Ora
My fave singer as of right now is miss Lady Rita I discovered Rita in late early 2012 her voice has blown me away her debut is a pop orgy of funr Crazy Girl and Radio Active are pristine and beguiling. I see great things in Rita’s future.
8. Frank Ocean Channel Orange*
The King of 2012 in no doubt his sexiness Frank Ocean his has more taanet in his pikey than many in the industry today. This album is the bee knees and I would like to be on my knees for him.*

Grimes is a indie electronica artist is a unique sound when I first heard her song Oblivion I was blown away I need I had to check out her album only. I was blown away by the production Visions is a innovative leap forward into the electronic movement
6. Garbage Not Your Kind of People
Garbage has been a fave band of mind since I was a child in the late 90’s Not your kind of people is pitch perfect in my eyes with heavy relateble lyrics that speak to me. The Tile track is something that can ring a bell to any none Phony people are everywhere this day in age and that songs call them of in the most melodic way
5. Cat Power Sun
Sun is authentic and beautiful Charlyn voice is the melancholic yet cheerful to hear Cherokee is one of the best track of the year
4.Zambri House Of Basa
Zambri a Electronic experimental duo music sounds like no other. This album takes a while to get used for its sound like nothing you herd before the teams of sisters are the most one of kind acts to day and this album show how music can still be original.
3. Leona Lewis Glass Heart
Leona has officially delivered her best work to date with her 2012 album. Glass Heart Her vocals are divine and she shows great growth on this album I to You and Trouble are very hard hitting. This is pop perfection
2. Brandy Two Eleven
Two Eleven Both Brandy’s birthday and the day Brandy’s idol Whitney Houston died is shocking good. Alost every track is five star great production and lyrics this albums wowed me. Brandy has been in the game for almost 20 years and is still pushing out quality music
1. Fiona Apple The Idler Wheel
Fiona Apple is pure heaven her first release since the masterful 200’s album Extraordinary Machine. Fiona tops it The Idler Wheel is a hard punch of alternative greatness Fiona one of the best songwriters of out time can write so dexterous and adequate I can relate to almost every tack.

Soap&Skin, Crystal Castles + Niki & The Dove I'm obsessed with All I Ever Wanted by Kate Earl but I've never bothered to check her out. I guess I'll get to that!
