I just want to know if any of you are vision impaired, I have Retinopathy of Prematurity with associated cataracts, which has now manifested into short-sightedness with astigmatism, I am -10.50 in my left eye and -8.75 in my right which is 6/48 in my left (20/160) and 6/18 (20/60) in my right, I'm one line away from being blind in my left eye, I have to attend a low vision clinic every year and get my eyes checked every year as well.
So does anyone have a similarity to me or is your vision worse than mine?
I'm -1.75 in both eyes. I wear contact lenses every day. I'm nowhere near as blind as you, but when people who have 20/20 put on my glasses, they're like "woahhhhh this is soooo blurry."
I can't see far away. I need glasses/contacts to drive, watch movies, read signs/stuff that's far away. I can still walk around without them. But I wouldn't recognise a friend until they were like 10 metres away.

I am short-sighted and I have astigmatism as well. I don't know the numbers but it's kind of bad, in order for me to see signs or faces they need to be like 5 meters or closer when I'm not wearing my glasses.
My vision used to be good until like 11th grade in high school when out of nowhere I developed short sightedness.
