It's still technically 2012.
Also, Super Bowl helped him a lot.

If it wasn't for Christmas sales, then it would have been closer to the 200's.

They must have not included Mediatraffic's first week, week ending Jan 4th, because that was technically 2013's Christmas sales. However, I am pretty sure MT includes Jan 4th week ending in their year-end countdown, since they released their 2013 sales before Christmas.

Yeh this is it. Although adding that week leaves a 10,000 difference in the sales of Frozen but that must be a small addition error.

They don't include it in the 2014 sales.

Would be easier to read if there were those three extra zeros in each number instead of the (in thousands) option.

The first week of the year counts for the previous year-end. They released their 2013 sales before Christmas, but they made an update after it.
Example:
week 52/2013 - Beyoncé 746K (debut)
week 01/2014 - Beyoncé 608K (week 2)
Year end 2013 - Beyoncé 1,400,000 copies
