In the past, many members have claimed to have "never heard a Janet Jackson song in their life" or "before they started using ATRL", which I've always found to be quite absurd because she is a legend with quite a few classics.
So I'm curious to know, before you started using ATRL, did you know of at least one song by Janet Jackson?
To be honest, no. I've never heard a single song from her nor have I heard anyone mention her, I just knew her as Michael's brother. I didn't know how big her impact and career was until I came on ATRL.

Not sure how anyone grew up without hearing Nasty, Rhythm Nation, TTWLG, Together Again or All for You. Plus Feedback, Doesn't Really Matter and Someone to Call My Lover are memorable hits from this millennium
Growing up I only knew Janet as Michael's sister and had no idea she was a singer. Fast forward to now and I'm definetly a fan of some of her work. I don't think she's very global, so to speak, I'm from Portugal and I had only heard Feedback for the longest time. Thankfully I've discovered her early bodies of work.
No. She's not popular or relevant in my country and before joining ATRL, I didn't even know that she sings. I thought that she was famous for being MJ's sister. The first time I heard of her was because of Nipplegate but I was like 10 at the moment and didn't care about it.
